Happy Birthday Button Nose!
In case anyone is wondering why I refer to her as Button-Nose, that is what I started calling her as a tiny little baby - and it stuck! Sometimes I call her Button-Butt, she giggles ;)
So my little girl is really growing up!
When my sister had her, I was single and living in my own apartment. It was a very happy time in my life - life was gooooood. They didn't live too far from me, so I had the baby quite a bit.
I miss those moments - she was the apple of my eye.
Her party was fun! She wanted her daddy's homemade ribs. Dig (my sis) made cole slaw, beans and sweet potato fries. Everything was yummy, including the delicious strawberry cake.
